Carroll Hospital Center knows that our patients look forward to visits from their family and friends - and we welcome them too.
To assist in making your visit to our hospital as easy and comfortable as possible, we have provided important information below and under the links to the right. Our staff is available to assist you when you arrive if you have questions or need help.
We ask that all visitors cooperate in promoting the comfort and well-being of our patients by observing the following visiting policy and visiting hours:
Visiting Policy
All hospital visitors must be 12 years of age or older. For the safety of our patients, please do not visit if you have a runny nose, cough, or other symptoms of respiratory infection, gastrointestinal illness or any other suspected contagious disease.
Visiting Hours
General hospital visiting hours for adult family members and friends are Noon – 8 p.m. As outlined below, some units may have more limited visiting hours based on patient needs and the type of care provided.
Behavioral Health
Weekdays: 2 – 3 p.m. & 7 – 8 p.m.
Weekends: 2 – 4 p.m. & 7 – 8 p.m.
Monitored Care Units (PCU, IMC & CCU)
10 a.m. – 8 p.m., two visitors per patient
No visiting hours between 6:45 p.m. – 7:15 p.m.
The Family Birthplace
One support person: unlimited visiting hours.
Visiting Hours: 11 a.m. - 8 p.m.
All visitors, except siblings, must be at least 12 years old.
Pediatrics
Parents: unlimited visiting hours (one parent overnight).
Visiting Hours: 11 a.m. - 8 p.m.
All visitors, including siblings, must be at least 12 years old.
Special Care Nursery
Parents: unlimited visiting hours
Grandparents: 11 a.m. – 8 p.m., only if one parent is present, 10-minute visits, maximum of two visitors at a time. No visiting hours between 6:45 p.m. – 7:15 p.m. Visitation at discretion of Special Care Nursery staff.
Parking
Parking is complimentary and is located off of the main hospital entrance and in the parking garage. Visitor parking is clearly marked to assist our visitors in finding parking easily.
